About the role#
This is a full-time co-op position for the Summer and Fall 2027 terms. You will join the team in Cedar Rapids to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing quality assurance. This role requires you to work on-site. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist product quality teams with defect reviews and scrap analysis.
- Provide manufacturing support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in production processes.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for quality issues.
- Support proactive initiatives to prevent defects and optimize performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality protocols and objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- You must remain actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
- Experience with quality-related tasks, which may be gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous work.
- Prior experience with Raytheon Technologies (RTX) is preferred.
