About the role#
This Co-Op Software Engineer position supports the Microelectronics wafer fab. You will contribute to application development across multiple product lines and work with various engineering disciplines to integrate technology into our product portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Define requirements and collaborate on software design.
- Implement software and manage software-hardware integration.
- Participate in key decision-making for development projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
- Experience with software engineering tools like version control and debuggers.
- Proficiency with SQL and databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of full lifecycle software development and configuration management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps environments and Windows development.
- Familiarity with API concepts including JSON and XML.
- Proficiency in Python, Flask, AngularJS, and C#.
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Confluence, Jira, and Git.
- Background in embedded electronics or automated test equipment.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
- The position operates on a rolling term.
